They were provided with backpacks including a sleeping bag, food, a plushie, a note, and an enchanted token. A motherly and benevolent voice spoke with them, informing the critters that they were to be adopted today and would soon meet their new parents. They were given some time to explore the garden, meet one another, and process the coming event.

The voice told them they were chosen to adopt children as she had been watching them and marked them responsible, trustworthy, good parents. They were each given corresponding tokens to match with the children they were assigned to.
