Swamp was born on a planet called Zimrunrun, and was accidentally abducted ²⁾ by human scouts ³⁾ at a few months old. He grew up on a large spaceship called the S.S. Soteria, living in squalor and poverty in a literal dump, eating garbage and scraps while fending for himself with no parents or family. In his late teens, he joined a rebellious group of aliens and humans who were fighting against the Soterian government for the despicable living conditions in the Lower Sector of the ship. Swamp's responsibilities in this group mostly consisted of sneaking around, stealing things, and eavesdropping.

One day, mid-mission, Swamp was crawling through some air vents on his way to the Secretary's Office when a strange rip swallowed him up. Swamp awoke on the Pumpkin Isles.

The universe Swamp is from is much like our own in the way that you get one life and that's it. No second chances. No respawning. Whatever took him from the ship and dropped him in the Isles, it altered the way his life works. He could respawn infinitely unless he dies of old age or his body is in disrepair. Since becoming Gummy's vassal, he is now properly immortal unless he chooses to die and Gummy allows it.

1. Fell off a cliff in a cave
   • This was before he'd befriended anyone on the Isles, but he had met Ghost and Gummy. He waited on Ghost's porch for her to return from wherever she was to ask for help retrieving his items.
2. Stabbed to death by Xuh for killing Ghost
   • By this point, he had befriended Ghost though was often downed and hit by her as a joke. They were messing around in some caves when he saw her take off her armour, and took that opportunity to seek revenge. Xuh, who was with them, killed Swamp shortly after Ghost died.
3. Ghost slit his throat while possessed by Lyph

   • We don't actually know if this was his fourth death but there was one after Lyph and before vassalhood. This is my best guess.
5. Becoming Gummy's vassal
   • The ritual to make Swamp a vassal consisted of being downed by magic (potions of harming), then for Gummy to finish him off with a scythe labelled Devotion.

Hair: Short but scraggly and he lets it grow out a bit sometimes, has a fair amount of greys. Dyes the front orange and yellow at the moment. Thick, bushy eyebrows. Scraggly facial hair.

Facial Features: Tired eyes, nose like a mountain goat, overbite where canines poke out, sharp teeth, large pointed & scaled ears, green scales frame his face.

Eyes: Left yellow, right green, both glowing.

Body: AFAB. 5'5“. Top surgery (no nipples!). Average-chubby body type, but strong. Very hairy, including a large puff of chest hair. Scales cover shoulders, back, sides and back of neck, and arms. Long, strong, scaled, prehensile tail. Green horns. Chicken of the woods growing on left arm (sensitive and part of his biology). Feet like an ape, but with blue paws. Sharp nails. Pawed hands. Scars
