  • Without concentrating very hard on not doing it, plants and naturally spawning structures and items wither and die upon contact. Wood will rot and decompose, stone will crumble and erode. Flowers and plants die. Animals and people who spend too much time around him without some form of shielding often develop radiation sickness-type illnesses, and upon contact with bare skin he leaves burns.
  • This is mitigated by wearing a humanoid costume of sorts, so that his true form is unable to be properly perceived as holy.
• Other abilities are tied to his power as a god, I.E. unnatural strength and speed, shapeshifting, apparent telepathy.

Gummy was once a powerful god, the original god of Decay and Destruction. Along with his siblings, the Sanguine and the End (also known as The Lady Death), they built the grounds for the earth to be populated with humans.

Approximately 3500 years ago, he was summoned to Earth by a powerful magician, who wished to have his son revived from the dead. Gummy, then called the Nameless God, told the magician he could not bring back the dead, and could not fulfill the request. Enraged, the magician cursed gummy to live a half-life, bound to a vessel too small to contain his strength and too weak to survive alone for all eternity. The first body he used as a puppet for his own actions was the magician's son, which drove him to madness and led him to cast Gummy (still wearing the small child's body) out from the window of the high tower they lived in. The magician soon followed, with his body being the next Taken and Consumed by Gummy.

Gummy spent several thousand years on the run, hopping from body to body and running whenever he was found by other people. He was known as a demon, a parasite. By the time Gummy made his first appearance on QBLR, he had become accustomed to making small temporary homes and not making any lasting relationships. When the adoption event occurred, he did not sign up as he felt he wouldn't be an adequate father. GhostZone was the first proper close friend Gummy had ever made, and from their friendship, many more sprung. He has a very close relationship with many people of the Rosas faction on QBLR, and was one of the three founding members of the Squaredance Polycule.

Upon the destruction of QBLR, Gummy pushed himself through the portal leading to SQDSMP first. The portal scattered the inhabitants through space and time, and then exploded. Upon emerging, Gummy found that he was utterly alone, with the manor next to him. He spent the next 500 years isolated in a decaying corpse, falling into a deep mental health spiral that ended in his insanity. The perceived loss of his family (that he'd only gained a few months ago) was so much that he ceased to speak entirely. During the time alone, he hallucinated his spouses and children often, which typically ended in self-harming behaviours (such as throwing himself off the roof of the Squansion) or deep depression.

The body that Gummy is attached to greatly changes his mental clarity and state of mind, as shown with the previous example. when a body is pushed too far for an extended period of time, or if the body is too heavily decayed, Gummy has an alter-like figure named “Pestilence” that will take over for self-preservation reasons. this is typically notified by a higher pitched voice, frequent humming and extreme violence if hungry or threatened. This also occurs when Gummy is in perceived danger of experiencing serious bodily harm, usually drowning.

Gummy is shown to be incredibly loyal to anyone he sees as family or friends, often going to great lengths to attempt to protect them from any perceived threats. It is very territorial over it's spouses and is stated to “not like sharing”.

Hair: Pink and yellow split dye, typically worn in a braid or similar fashion.

Eyes: Pink and yellow heterochromia, typically in the opposite way to the hair split.

Clothing: Gummy tends to favour more relaxed clothing, often knitwear like sweaters. He does not like wearing skirts or short sleeves, but can be seen in shorts occasionally.

Accessories: Gummy wears Salem's necklace, no matter what body he inhabits, as well as his wedding ring. In the past, he wore the ring on his left hand (switching to the right once when he inhabited a body with a missing ring finger), but in his humanoid form he wears his Squaredance wedding ring and the ring given to him by Swamp at the Ocean Gala on a gold chain around his neck.

Scars: After his re-ascension to the Throne, he has scarring from being torn apart by the void which is prevalent on his humanoid form. his true form is not affected by this.
