Androids & Antres

Androids & Antres,1)2) shortened to A&A, is a steampunk TTRPG that is popular in Estrea in the 2500s. First Edition uses racist stereotypes that were overhauled in Second Edition.

Zaida, Charlotte, and Marigold the only known characters to play A&A.

A&A is played using a set of 6 dice; a D4 D6, D8, D10, D12, and a D20

Classes

  • Engineer/Tinkerer (Artificer)
    • Has the most sub-classes
  • Corsair (Rogue)
    • Think thieves, smugglers, pirates, bandits. Assassins and conmen may also fit?
  • Bruiser (Barbarian)
    • Bulky and heavy hitting, stereotyped as unintelligent henchmen and himbos, punch first and ask questions later
  • Scholar (Wizard)
  • Vassal (Warlock)
  • Shaman (Druid)
    • Traditionally shaman / druid would not be a playable class, rather a type of enemy that people have home-brewed into a player class.
  • Diviner/Evoker (Sorcerer)
  • Champion (Paladin)
  • Devotee (Cleric)
  • Troubadour (Bard)
    • Subclasses based on the arts they excel in (eg. Sonneteer uses poetry to craft powerful spells)
  • Warrior (Fighter)

Races

  • Human
  • Android
  • Biobot (cyborg)
  • Hybrid
    • Hybrids get an extra skill point towards any skill of their choosing that they think best fits their species. Too many hybrids to list
